The Romanian champion has emotions regarding the state of health of Alexandru Stoian (17 years old). The young striker scored on Wednesday night in the UEFA Youth League U19 team's 1-2 defeat against Akademia Pușkaș, but he came off injured.

During the game with the Hungarians, Stoian complained of pain and asked to be changed. Stoian is one of the few variants of the champion for the U21 rule.

Alexandru Stoian will do an MRI

While FCSB are in Belgrade for the match against Red Star in the Europa League, the U19 team of the champions performed in the UEFA Youth League against the Hungarians from Akademia Pușkaș. Alexandru Stoian scored his team's only goal in the 1-2 defeat.

Following a duel during the game, Stoian felt pain and was substituted. He didn't even go to the flash interview.

The exact nature of the injury is not known, but Alexandru Stoian will have an MRI to see what happened, Digi Sport announced.

This news is worrying in view of Sunday's match in Constanța, against Farului, a duel that is expected to be extremely important in the fight for the play-offs.

Lately, in the context of Mihai Toma's oscillating developments and Ionuț Cercel's injury, Alexandru Stoian has become the main variant of Elias Charalambous for the U21 rule.

It remains to be seen if the player who scored the champion's only goal in the draw with Petrolul (1-1) will be present on the field in the duel with Constanta.

Stoian, praised by Hungarians

The good performance in the Youth League duel caught the attention of the Hungarians at nemzetisport.hu. They praised the transfer made by the Romanian champion.

“It was not for nothing that he gave FCSB 900,000 euros to take Stoian from Farul in January. He took advantage of the first opportunity after the break and headed the ball into the goal, from three meters, from Denis Colibănașu”, wrote the Hungarian publication.
