Radu Bîrlică, his former marketing director Dinamothe man who had at one point requested the bankruptcy of the clubat a time when insolvency and debts to former employees were a pressing issue for the “dogs”, confesses, in a confessional interview granted to Gazeta Sporturilor, that he has overcome any animosity related to the current leadership of the red-whites.

Employed within the club during the “Cortacero era”, a downright gloomy one for the Dynamo fans, Radu Bîrlică reveals that he has left the world of football and that he has definitively left the tumultuous period at Dinamo behind. The former club official was among the characters who contested in court, in 2023, the modification of Dinamo's reorganization plan, at the same time requesting the company's bankruptcy.

Two years later, Radu Birlică admits that, from the position of employee registered at the credal table, lost a considerable amount due to insolvency, but says he no longer holds a grudge against the people in Dinamo's new management.

Radu Bîrlică reveals: “We lost around 210,000 euros, but it's good that Dinamo is on an upward trend”

I'm out of the sports sphere for now! We deal with energy, with something else.

What can I say about Dinamo? It's a good thing it's on an upward trend. I have nothing… That was it, if this is what the law has established, what can we do? This is the Insolvency Law! I lost the money, but it doesn't matter now, good thing they are fine. I lost around 210,000 euros. Quite a lot!

Good thing they're fine and that's enough, everything is in the past. Given that the new shareholders are more powerful, I expected them to rise, why not?

There is no one left in the club from those I worked with. Unfortunately, I was surprised to see that even Johnny Culina is no longer a club (No. the former press officer of Dinamo). You can't let someone like him go, but every shareholder has his policy. I understood that now it's more about volunteering, the people there kept changing.

If the new shareholders have decided like this, everyone can do what they want with their company, but I think that some people should have been kept”, Birlică pointed out, exclusively for GSP.ro.

“I came with big promises and lost all the money”

The former marketing manager from Dinamo reinforced his idea, then recalling the broken promises by the Spanish management:

“As for what happened, it's over. I have no regrets. It's been a strange few years, the Insolvency Act is against some, only one side wins.

They have been strange years, indeed. And I came on the basis of big promises. We brought sponsors, we brought everything, but we lost all the money.

I have nothing more to say, life goes on. We are business people, we are now dealing with something else, things are going well”, concluded Bîrlică.

Bîrlică was employed at Dinamo in 2020, during the “dismounting” of Pablo Cortacero, a character he later renounced.

Radu Bîrlică vehemently contested the new organizational plan

In 2023, Radu Bîrlică requested the court to postpone the discussion and approval/confirmation of the modification of the reorganization plan until the discussion of the bankruptcy petitions pending at that time in the Bucharest Court against the debtor Dinamo 1948 SA. The former marketing director from Dinamo believed that “the new reorganization plan is based on utopian sources of income, being unrealistic and impossible to achieve“.

Bîrlica is the figure at the credit table with 68,685 lei (15,000 euros), his company being also registered in the unsecured category with the amount of 890,857.57 lei (190,000 euros).
