Never wash this in cold water. Tips that will be useful in everyday life

In a comment to the publication, fabric care specialist at the American company Procter & Gamble, Kim Romine, explained which fabric products are not recommended to be washed in cold water.

Aprons, kitchen towels and oven mitts

Any fabric products that are used during cooking are breeding grounds for bacteria. Experts recommend washing kitchen towels in hot water immediately after use to prevent the growth of bacteria that can lead to food poisoning.

Clothes with grease stains

Clothing and other fabrics stained with oil, grease or wax should be washed at the highest water temperature allowed for the fabric.

Items used by the sick person

Things of a sick person should be washed only in hot water, as bacteria and viruses can settle on clothes, towels and bed linen. To disinfect fabrics that cannot be washed in warm or hot water, use a laundry disinfectant.

Very dirty things

Regardless of the type of fabric, all items that are too dirty should be washed in hot water. We are talking about work clothes, diapers, and bedding for animals. Hot water removes stains more effectively and provides a deeper clean by eliminating allergens.
