In Khakassia, transport police are establishing the circumstances of the death of a fisherman on the Yenisei River, the Department of Transport of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Siberian Federal District reported.

The day before, the call center was called by the relatives of a fisherman who had gone on his boat to the Ust-Abakan region. They reported that a man called them and told them that the boat had leaked. After this the connection was interrupted.

“Rescuers and volunteers who arrived in the area of ​​the incident found the body of a 43-year-old victim near the shore. Currently, the investigative team is establishing all the circumstances of the incident,” the press service said.

Transport police ask owners of boats and boats to follow safety precautions when using them. Before going out on the water, you must make sure that the engine and hull of the vessel are in good working order, check the availability of documents, life-saving equipment for each person and signaling equipment. It is not recommended to go sailing in limited visibility, strong winds, high waves or other adverse weather conditions.
