Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday (November 25) that Ukraine is ready to move forward on the basis of the peace plan proposed by the United States, but stressed to allies in the Coalition of the Will that the text still includes “sensitive points” that require clarification at the highest level.

“This framework is on the table and we are ready to move forward together,” said Zelenski, in a message addressed to the states that continue to support Kiev militarily and diplomatically, according to a copy of his speech, obtained by AFP and quoted by Agerpres.

On November 24, Reuters wrote that Ukraine and the United States are analyzing the possibility of Volodymyr Zelenskiy making a visit to Washington this very week. The main goal: a face-to-face discussion with Donald Trump about the essential elements of the peace plan, especially those regarding the territorial status of the disputed areas.

Only one day away, on Tuesday, November 25, Donald Trump announced on the Truth Social platform that he would send two high-ranking representatives for bilateral talks with the Russian side and Ukraine. Thus, special envoy Steve Witkoff will travel to Moscow to speak directly with Vladimir Putin, while US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has been tasked with holding separate consultations with President Zelenskiy.

As for a possible direct meeting at the White House, Donald Trump sent a categorical message: he will not meet with Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin until the peace agreement is “completed” or at least “in its final phase.”

“I hope to meet with President Zelenski and President Putin soon, but ONLY when the agreement to end this war is FINAL or in its final stages,” wrote Donald Trump on Social Truth on Tuesday.
