The tax authorities discovered millions of euros in undeclared income from video content on adult platforms: How many people are checked, what ages they are and how much they earned

The General Anti-Tax Fraud Directorate started a series of extensive checks on 103 natural persons who obtained income from the creation of video content on the adult platforms OnlyFans and LiveJasmine, the preliminary analysis indicating that incomes of more than 64.25 million lei (almost 13 million euros) were not declared to the tax authorities, ANAF announced on Wednesday.

Checks are carried out both by the central structure and by the regional departments. According to the data analyzed by ANAF Antifraud inspectors, in the period 2023-2024, the persons concerned received substantial income from the OnlyFans and LiveJasmine platforms, operated by Fenix ​​International and JWS International.

The preliminary analysis shows that these revenues – totaling 64.25 million lei – were not declared to the tax authorities.

Following the risk assessments, ANAF estimated additional obligations of around 7.9 million lei, representing income tax, CAS and CASS related to the undeclared amounts.

The people checked are both women and men, aged between 20 and 49. The identified individual incomes vary considerably, from 200,000 lei to 3.15 million lei, in the mentioned period.

At the same time, currently, another 384 natural persons, creators of video content, who collected income of 280 million lei, are subject to ANAF's risk analyses.

The action is part of the series of targeted controls regarding the income obtained from online activities, an expanding field, in which fraud and evasion methods are constantly diversifying. ANAF makes consistent efforts to reduce the degree of fiscal non-compliance in all areas with high fiscal risk.
