
This dessert symbolizes the festive decorations and promises that good luck will be firmly “harnessed” in your home throughout the next year. Crispy caramel, tender apple and elegant gold decoration.
Ingredients:
- Small hard apples – 6 pcs.
- Wooden sticks
- Sugar – 200 g
- Water – 50 ml
- Juice of half a lemon
- Chocolate – 150 g
- Corn flakes – 100 g
- Gold food coloring
Preparation:
Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Insert the sticks firmly into the base.
Gold sprinkles. Melt the chocolate in a water bath, add coloring, stir. Gently stir in the cereal. Distribute the finished mass on parchment. Cool for 15 minutes, break into crumbs.
Caramel. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until golden amber (~7-10 minutes). Remove from heat when the first smoke appears.
Assembly. Dip the apples into the caramel, swirling to coat. Let the excess drip off. Quickly sprinkle with gold dust, then place in a glass to set.
