The 27th edition of the Women's Handball World Championship is scheduled between November 26 and December 14, 2025. The Netherlands and Germany host the competition, which also includes Romania and where Norway starts as a big favorite.

The top two national teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals, also with Rotterdam and Dortmund as hosts. For the semi-finals and finals, all teams will move to the Netherlands.
