Abnormal frosts will hit the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the end of autumn

Severe frosts are forecast at the end of November in three districts of Russia — Siberian, Ural and Far Eastern. Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the country's Hydrometeorological Center, reported this to TASS:

“There will be a sharp change in temperature in Siberia. So, in Krasnoyarsk on Wednesday and Thursday the temperature will be 10-12 °C above normal, but already on Saturday and Sunday, due to the invasion of cold air masses and increased pressure, nighttime values will drop to −30 °C, while daytime values will be about −22, −25 °C, which is 10 units below the climate norm. At the same time, in Taimyr the temperature will be from −40 to −46 °C.”
In addition, in Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs in the coming days, the thermometers may drop to −31, −41 °C. The last five days of November are also expected to be cold in Chukotka – from −38 to −40 °C. In the Magadan region, the temperature will drop to −40, −42 °C, which is 6-7 degrees below normal.
