Gabriela Moreschi, 31 years old, agreed with Metz, going to leave CSM Bucharest at the end of the current season, in the summer of 2026.
CSM Bucharest remains without a “keeper”! The day after GSP.ro exclusively informed that goalkeepers Evelina Eriksson and Daciana Hosu got along with Gloria Bistrițagoing to leave Bucharest in the summer of 2026, the same was announced in the case of the third goalkeeper, the Brazilian Gabriela Moreschi.
Moreschi accepted the offer from Metz, the French champion, signing a 3-year contract. It will also come into effect at the end of the season.
Practically, at this moment the Romanian champion does not have any goalkeeper confirmed for the 2026/2027 season.
Gabriela Moreschi left CSM Bucharest for Metz
For the Brazilian goalkeeper it will be a return to France. He also played there at Fleury Loiret, between 2019 and 2021. He arrived at CSM in the summer of 2024, as a familiar face in the Florilor League, after spending the 2018/2019 season at Măgura Cisnădie.
“I am very happy to join Metz for the next 3 years. From the discussions with the staff regarding the long-term vision of the club, I realized that everything perfectly matches my expectations. I am grateful for the trust they have shown in me and I can't wait to integrate, continue to develop and give my all for the team and our supporters.
The discussions I had with Thierry (no – Weizman, president of Metz) and Manu (no – Emmanuel Mayonnade, coach) were very positive. They explained clearly what they expected from me and where I fit into this project. Their sincerity and ambition, but also the trust they showed me, made the decision much easier to make. I can't wait to work with them.
Competing for trophies and the Champions League Final Four are the kind of challenges that motivate me. The organized and demanding environment within the club is exactly what I'm looking for at this point in my career”, Gabriela Moreschi said when signing the agreement with Metz.
