And in Russia there is a “Parade of Families.” They [россияне] They serve a festive liturgy, then they go through this ersatz parade with a procession of the cross, then they present some medals to large families, and at this time bombs are flying at Ukrainian children,” Luchenko wrote.
According to the publication, a linguistic examination in the Russian Federation established that the message written by Luchenko described the actions of the Russian army as violent, associated with the death of people, including minors, as well as the destruction of civilian infrastructure. The investigation believes that the journalist acted based on the motive of “political hatred.”
The initiation of a criminal case against the journalist became known at the end of September, and on October 24, Ksenia Luchenko was put on the wanted list.
The Mediazona publication noted that Luchenko specializes in topics of Russian Orthodoxy, its influence on Russian politics and society, as well as church-state relations. In May 2025, the Kremlin added her to the register of “foreign agents.”
