Zelensky called on allies to maintain support for Ukraine and mentioned the “right to war”

“This is a long war, and the main thing that Russia is trying to do is to leave itself the opportunity to fight even longer and not only against Ukraine. That’s why we so appreciate that so many forces and leaders are now working for peace,” he wrote.

He thanked the United States, its President Donald Trump, as well as “everyone in Europe, in the G7 and G20” for helping Ukraine.

Thanks to the United States, the President of Ukraine remembered “the help that, starting with [переносных противотанковых ракетных комплексов] Javelin saves the lives of Ukrainians.”

“It is important not to forget the most important goal – to stop the Russian war and not allow it to flare up ever again. And for this to happen, the world must be worthy. This year alone [нелегитимный президент РФ Владимир] “Putin has already sent hundreds of thousands of his people to their deaths in order to occupy a percentage or several of Ukrainian territory,” Zelensky said.

He recalled that the aggressor country “already has more of its internationally recognized territory than anyone else in the world.”

“This nature of the war and Russia’s attempts to prolong the war indicate that for them this is not about territory, not about how this or that neighbor of Russia behaves, but about the “right to war” for Russia, about the “right to conquer” others, about the fundamental lack of security. That is why we are working so carefully on every point, on every step towards peace. Everything must work correctly – so as to really end this war and to prevent a repeat of the war,” Zelensky wrote.
