SuperLiga: Csikszereda, important victory against Unirea Slobozia

The Csikszereda team beat the Unirea Slobozia team 2-1 at home on Friday, in the first match of the 17th SuperLiga stage, reports News.ro.

At Miercurea Ciuc, in a match played in thick fog, the hosts missed the opening goal in the 20th minute, with Anderson Ceara's shot, saved by Gurău, and after four minutes Eppel managed to send the ball into the net, but the goal was canceled due to an offside position.

However, the hammers opened the scoring in the 49th minute, when Anderson Ceara scored with a superb shot from outside the box. The Ialomi people missed in the 61st minute, through Antoche, but after just one minute Prepelita's students put the equalizing goal on the scoreboard. Vlad Pop shot accurately from the center of the field, despite the fog, and beat Gurău, who was way out of the gate.

Marton Eppel scored the winning goal for the hosts, in the 75th minute, and Csikszereda – Unirea Slobozia finished 2-1.

Ciucani achieved their third victory of the season and are in 13th place in the ranking, with 16 points, while Unirea Slobozia is in 11th place, with 18 points.
