Fire in Bucharest. What is the condition of the 17 people who arrived at the hospital. Two of them are children

Information about the condition of the 17 people transported to hospitals in Bucharest, following the fire on Saturday morning at the 11-story building in the One Cotroceni residential complex, was made public by the Ministry of Health.
“Following the fire that broke out today, at a residential building in Sector 5, a number of 17 people required specialized medical care and were transported to emergency clinical hospitals in the Capital”, the Ministry of Health reported on Saturday.
The people were taken to five hospitals in Bucharest, two of them to the Grigore Alexandrescu Children's Emergency Hospital.
The situation of transporting patients to medical units is as follows:
- Bagadasar-Arseni Emergency Clinical Hospital – 5 patients
- Floreasca Emergency Clinical Hospital – 5 patients
- University Hospital – 3 patients
- Central Military Hospital – 2 patients
- Grigore Alexandrescu Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children – 2 patients
A man is intubated
The most serious is a 60-year-old man, who is intubated. The other 16 patients were exposed to smoke only.
“Apart from the 60-year-old man transported to the Bagdasar-Arseni Emergency Clinical Hospital who is intubated, in serious condition, the other 16 patients are conscious, stable, exposed only to smoke”, states the Ministry of Health.
A number of 152 people were evacuated or self-evacuated from the 11-story building located on Sergent Ion Nuţu Street, in Sector 5 of the Capital. The fire started in an apartment on the 5th floor and manifested itself with large releases of smoke.
