A Krasnoyarsk resident killed two roe deer in the Bolshemurtinsky district and was subject to criminal charges.

In the Bolshemurtinsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police detained a 38-year-old man suspected of illegal hunting. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
A state hunting inspector in the company of law enforcement officers stopped a Renault from Krasnoyarsk near the village of Mezhovo. When inspecting the car, law enforcement officers found parts of the carcasses of Siberian roe deer in the trunk.
The man admitted that he was hunting in the area. He illegally shot animals with a registered weapon. The amount of damage caused to the state amounted to 80 thousand rubles.
A criminal case was opened against the hunter under Part 1 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal hunting”. Now the Krasnoyarsk resident faces a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to 2 years. Now he is under recognizance not to leave the place.
