The case was taken over by the Injuries and Culpable Homicide Service of the Capital Police, under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the 3rd District Court, in order to establish all the circumstances in which the tragic event occurred.
According to the first information, the child received too high a dose of anesthetic, and the doctors were unable to save her. Around 5:30 p.m., the little girl, brought to the dentist for a minor medical problem, began to show signs of feeling sick after the administration of anesthesia.
“On November 13, 2025, around 7:30 p.m., the 10th Police Department was notified, via SNUAU 112, about the fact that, at a dental clinic in Sector 3, a child went into cardio-respiratory arrest“, according to a Police statement.
Medical personnel tried to revive her for about 40 minutes. The little girl went into cardiorespiratory arrest three times — twice she showed signs of responding to maneuvers, but in the end, her body gave out.
The doctor who performed the intervention also works at the Floreasca Emergency Hospital.
The clinic where the tragedy occurred would be Crystal Dental Clinic, on Olteni street, in sector 3, according to the images broadcast by television. The premises of the clinic belonging to the doctor Sorina Blaj have been sealed by the investigators and are guarded by the police.
