Northern Strike exercises began at the training ground near Rovaniemi with the participation of Polish artillerymen from the 1st Masurian Artillery Brigade, who brought Homar rocket launchers to Finnish Lapland.


The Northern Strike 225 maneuvers are led by a brigade from Kainuu, a region located on the border with Russia. In total, approximately 2,200 soldiers and approximately 500 vehicles are involved in the exercises, which will last until November 25.
– The goal is to test artillery firepower in cooperation with allies in the difficult conditions of early winter. The Polish unit with heavy fire equipment numbers about 40 people, said the Finnish land forces.
