Over the 10 months of 2025, more than 44.9 thousand pets traveled with their owners on commuter trains of the Krasnoyarsk Railway.
Most often, cats and dogs of small breeds went on trips. Passengers also transported ornamental birds, rodents, and rabbits.
In accordance with the rules, small pets and birds travel on trains in carriers, containers or cages. Pets are allowed to be in the carriage outside of a carrier, but the use of a muzzle and leash is mandatory for dogs.
Large dogs may be transported muzzled and on a leash under the supervision of their owners. Guide dogs are transported free of charge on the commuter train.
Let us remind you that tickets for the transportation of pets can be purchased at suburban ticket offices, from cashiers in the carriage, or you can issue them in the Russian Railways Passengers mobile application, as well as using the Krasprigorod chatbot in the Telegram messenger.
