In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a man is suspected of illegally hunting two roe deer, the police press service reported.
A state inspector from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the region reported a possible violation of the law. The police went to the scene and detained a 48-year-old resident of the village of Idrinskoye, who was transporting three carcasses of roe deer of different types in his UAZ car.
It turned out that he had permission to kill one roe deer, and he killed the other two illegally in the forest in the vicinity of the village of Otrok in the Idra-Krasnoturansky district.
“The man butchered the animals on the spot and packed them into a car. The amount of damage caused amounted to 80 thousand rubles. A criminal case has been initiated against the poacher under Part. 1 tbsp. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal hunting”. Now a coercive measure has been chosen for him – an obligation to appear», — the press service said.
