The Russians launched one of the largest attacks on Tarnopol in western Ukraine. “In Ternopil, nine-story residential buildings were hit, fires broke out. Unfortunately, there is serious damage to houses, and there may be people under the rubble. All necessary services are working on site, trying to save every life. Kremlin troops also launched a massive attack on Kharkov. 46 people were injured there. Three people, including two children, were injured in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. “Critical and energy infrastructure was hit in the Lviv region. One person was injured in the Donetsk region. The following regions were also attacked: Kiev, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk,” the president said.

According to the head of state, every attack on the lives of ordinary people proves that the pressure on Russia is insufficient. “Effective sanctions and aid for Ukraine can change this. The first need is missiles for air defense, additional systems, increasing the capabilities of our combat aviation and the production of drones to protect life. Russia must be held accountable for the crimes committed, and we must focus on everything that strengthens us and allows us to shoot down Russian missiles, disable Russian drones and stop the attacks,” Zelensky wrote.
