In the context in which Accusations are brought to Camelia Voinea on a conveyor belt of mental and physical abuse, footage captured several years ago of the coach verbally abusing her daughter in the gym has now surfaced. Through tears, Sabrina asks her mother for permission, but she offends her: “What can I do to you if you're stupid?!”.
Camelia Voinea, 55 years old, former gymnast, now coach, is accused by several current and former athletes of repeated violence and abuse.
Everything started from the statements of Denisa Golgotă, 23, who revealed that she filed a complaint for physical and psychological harassment. Although he did not provide a name, he made a clear reference to Camelia Voinea.
Later, two former gymnasts trained by Camelia Voinea claimed, under the protection of anonymity, that they were assaulted and abused by the coach from Constanța.
“When we executed with the slightest mistake, whether it was an element on floor, beam, parallel bars, jumps, he immediately came and hit us.
Either he hit us with an object that he held in his hand, or he hit us with his fists, with his palms, slapped us, grabbed us by the tail, dragged us on the ground. He was effectively dragging us by the tail around the whole hall. Inhuman”, said one of them.
Older footage in which Sabrina Voinea is verbally abused by her own mother in the gym: “Mom, I can't anymore! / “Go to hell!”
Now, the case takes on new dimensions. In some video materials from the gym published by golazo.ro, Camelia Voinea behaves scandalously with her own daughter.
The footage is from several years ago and shows little Sabrina crying in pain, asking her mother to stop the exercisesto which she responds with lines like “Go to hell” and “What can I do to you if you're stupid?!”.
In one of the clips, after Sabrina fails an element on the bar, Camelia Voinea suddenly gets down on the mat and rushes to her daughter. When she sees her mother approaching, the athlete dodges, as if waiting to be hit. Camelia grabs her back brutally, then shows her how she should have done the move.
In a different video released by the source, after stepping down from the parallel bars following an exercise repetition, Sabrina says, sobbing: “Mommy, Mommy, I can't do it anymore! I want someone to come near me! I can't do it anymore, I'm going to crash!”
Camelia Voinea asks her to continue, and Sabrina protests: “I can't take it anymore, my ribs hurt! I can't do it anymore!“.
Finally, the gymnast returns to parallel bars, but tries to persuade her mother to change the element: “Mommy, can I straighten?”. The answer, came sharply, is shocking: “Go to hell! Come on!”. “But I want to make amends,” Sabrina protests. “What can I do to you, if you are stupid?! Come on, let's continue without number!”is the mother's reply.
Sabrina falls down and starts crying and screaming: “Mommy, I can't take it anymore! I can't take it anymore! I'm all beaten up!”. The voice of another trainer, the one supervising Sabrina, can also be heard in the background: “You go with fear and you get injured.” The hall was full of sportswomen who witnessed the shocking scenes.
