FCSB defeated Dinamo (2-1 in extra time) in the play-off final for the Conference League. The red-blue formation thus became the fourth team from Romania to go to the preliminaries, after Craiova University, U Cluj and CFR Cluj.
FCSB will enter the second round of the UEFA Conference League qualifiers and will be seeded in each round.
What opponents could FCSB have in the Conference League
FCSB will start the 2026-2027 European cup season with a spectacular coefficient: 24,000, because in the last two seasons it had a very good course. And thanks to this coefficient, he would be seeded in every preliminary round.
In a simulation on the current configuration of the standings, the red-blues would have an accessible route. In the play-off, they would need some luck to avoid some of the big names, such as Getafe, Dinamo Kiev, Beşiktaş or Twente.
