The publication emphasized that this victory is the first in the history of Ukraine at the European Championships. The previous best result was silver for the same Kurashvili at Euro 2023.
In a publication dedicated to Kurashvili, UEG wrote that the 21-year-old European Championship winner began doing aerobics at the age of five and is from a border town occupied by Russian troops. The athlete went abroad, but later returned home.
