“Venezuela loves Trump.” The US President said he is considering making the country the 51st state.


White House President Donald Trump said in an interview with a Fox News correspondent that he is “seriously considering” the possibility of making Venezuela the 51st US state. Journalist Bill Melugin wrote about this in X on May 11.

Trump has previously made similar statements regarding Canada and Greenland.

According to the journalist, the US President also added in the conversation that Venezuela has oil reserves worth $40 trillion. In addition, he noted that “Venezuela loves Trump.”

Fox News correspondent John Roberts, who took comment from Trump, confirmed that he told him about plans regarding Venezuela.
