The agrarian empire “Nibulon” which was lost due to the war key assets and his the leader Vadatursky, continues to fall apart.As noted, today the situation is more ambiguous than ever. Financial problems, the need for
restructuring and debts of $570 million led Nibulon to a slippery slope.
The company works with sub-sanctioned Russian businessman Oleksiy Fedorychev (“TIS-Zerno”) and the notorious schemes on money laundering by Roman Tereshchenko (“Transservice 2008”).
Such a choice hits not only the company itself, but also calls into question the help of international institutions – IFC and EBRD – to Ukrainian business as a whole, because there is no smell of transparency and compliance here.
Experts note that the question is now broader than the fate of “Nibulon”: whether the world's trust in the entire grain industry of Ukraine will not be discredited.
