A resident of Krasnoyarsk was convicted of stealing windows. In the summer, the police received a statement from a resident of Nikolaevka about the theft of plastic windows from the veranda of her house.
The police identified the attacker. He turned out to be a resident of the regional center, born in 1979, who had previously been convicted of drug distribution. The man said that he was inspecting houses in Nikolaevka that were subject to demolition for property that might be suitable for repairing his buildings. Not finding anything suitable, he noticed a gazebo with plastic windows in the courtyard of one of the houses. Deciding that they would be ideal for his veranda, the Krasnoyarsk resident climbed over the fence. After making sure that there was no one in the house or on the territory, he dismantled the windows, loaded them into the car and disappeared. He brought the stolen property to his place and placed it in the courtyard of the house.
During the investigation, the stolen property was seized and returned to the owners.
The investigator of the investigative department No. 7 of the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Krasnoyarsk” completed the investigation of the criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The Zheleznodorozhny District Court of the regional center sentenced the man to two years of suspended imprisonment.
