Meteorologists announce for Saturday, November 15, warm weather for this period. Fog will be recorded in several areas of the country. Maximum temperatures will reach up to 20 degrees.

“In the low areas of the south, east and part of the center of the country there will be low cloudiness for most of the interval, and locally especially morning and night fog, isolated possibly associated with drizzle. In the rest of the territory, the sky will be more clear during the day, except for the northwestern regions where there will be temporary clouds, and at night the cloudiness will increase, but only in limited areas, passing in the northwest it will rain weak”, ANM sent. Fog is recorded in the counties: Constanța, Alba, Caraş-Severin, Gorj, Ialomița, Bacău.

According to meteorologists, the wind will blow weak and moderate. Maximum temperatures will be between 8 and 20 degrees, with the lowest values ​​in areas of low cloud and persistent fog, and lows will generally be between 1 and 9 degrees.

In Bucharest, it will be foggy, possibly associated with drizzle especially in the early hours of the day and at night. The wind will blow weakly. The maximum temperature will be around 10 degrees, and the minimum will be 4…5 degrees.

In the mountains, the wind will intensify in the high mountain area. Highs will vary between 10 and 16 degrees, but in Banat and the southern hills 19–21 degrees can be reached.

Reduced visibility in traffic

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that at this time (06:30), no national roads or highways are reported to be closed to traffic as a result of any road event or due to weather conditions.

Driving in foggy conditions in general in the counties of the central and southern part of the country, which reduces traffic visibility below 200 meters.

On the main roads, namely the A 1 Bucharest – Pitești, A 2 Bucharest – Constanța, A 3 Bucharest – Ploiești highways, as well as national roads DN 1 Ploiești – Brașov and DN 7 Pitești – Sibiu, road traffic takes place in some places in conditions of reduced visibility, on a predominantly dry roadway, with low traffic values.

“To reduce road accidents, we recommend that drivers do not exceed the legal speed limit and reduce it significantly when visibility is reduced, keep a safe distance between vehicles, use the lighting and fogging systems, check thoroughly before each maneuver and avoid dangerous overtaking!”, the Romanian Police sent.
