Ranking of the best-paid professions in the near future


Programmers, who typically earn high salaries, will likely still be needed in the era of artificial intelligence. But it's not just them.

Many management, technology and healthcare positions offer high salaries and may see strong job growth in the coming years.

Based on the latest data We have created a list of 25 professionsthat have a future ahead of them. At least in the next decade.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has released new median annual wage data for May 2025, showing typical earnings for hundreds of occupations. Business Insider used this data along with 2024-2034 employment change projections previously published by the BLS to create a ranking of high-growth, high-paying jobs.

Based on these two sets of data, occupations with a median annual salary of at least PLN 75,000 were ranked. hole. (approx. The ranking was based on the geometric mean of both indicators – the highest mean meant a higher position. Broad, general professional groups were omitted.

Nurse practitioners and registered nurses* are well-paid professions in which more workers will be needed in the future.

“The demand for health care services will increase because of the large number of older adults, who tend to have more health problems than younger people,” the BLS says. “Registered nurses will also be needed to educate and care for patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes and obesity.”
