Poland is great and Karol Nawrocki is fantastic

— Some leaders of European countries, including Britain, are incredibly sensitive to the suggestion that their citizens are more important than citizens of other countries, said the American leader, commenting on migration policy.
He drew attention to Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban, “whom other leaders hate, but he is doing a fantastic job.” — Do you know how many people (migrants – PAP) he let into his country? Zero. There are no problems. He received a few Ukrainians due to the ongoing war, but basically no one, Trump said.
Trump about Nawrocki: he had no chance, I supported him and he won
— Poland doesn't accept people either. There are countries that simply refuse (to accept migrants – PAP), said the president.
— Poland is great, and the man who won the (presidential – PAP) elections is fantastic. He had no chance to come close to victory. He was one of many candidates. Thanks to his friend and my friend, a mutual friend, I supported him and he won the election. It was quite a big surprise. But he is fantastic. He'll be a great president, Trump said.
Trump on Ukraine: I thought it would be easier
Answering a question about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the American leader said that he had managed to end “eight wars, and the end of one is still ahead of me.”
— I thought I had a very good relationship with (Russian leader Vladimir) Putin. I thought it would be easier. Because I have seen some wars last, in one case 32 years, in another 36 years. And I solved them within two days. I'm very proud of it. I just solved another case today, I think. We've almost exhausted our war supplies, Trump said, without revealing what conflict he was referring to.

The president described the war in Ukraine as a “terrible bloodbath.”
— There are so many soldiers. There hasn't been anything like this since World War II. (…) We put a lot of pressure on them (Russia – PAP) regarding oil. India is now withdrawing and so are others. Because Russia sells oil, it has the money to act. But I think we will succeed, he emphasized.
Trump: I have a duty to sue the BBC
In an interview with the British station GB News, he announced that he had an “obligation” to sue the BBC for editing and broadcasting his statement, which was misleading to viewers. He announced that the lawsuit would be worth up to $5 billion.
Trump criticized British environmental activities, including wind farms, stating that the UK was wasting energy potential in the North Sea.
— Your entire economy would change because oil is so much more important than any other topic in terms of economic wealth and lifestyle. It is the basis of the country's success. You have one of the largest oil deposits in the world and you are not using it, said the American leader.
When asked what he thinks about when he wakes up, he confessed that his thoughts revolve around the slogan “Make America Great Again.” In his opinion, “in the history of politics, it is the best slogan ever used.”
— I just want America to be great again. I don't want to be politically correct. I don't want to be conservative, but that's because politics tends to be conservative. You want strong boundaries. You want a good education. You want a powerful army. You want different things. But this slogan really says it all, he confessed.
When asked if being a good president of a country is a bit like being a father, Trump replied that he had never been asked that question before.
— I love people. I love my country, he said, adding that he banned drugs, alcohol and cigarettes for his children. – If you never start, as I have never drank alcohol or taken drugs in my life, you don't want to do it, he said.
