The Peace Council is to be an institution chaired by the United States. Its initial goal – according to the plans presented by the US government – is to supervise the reconstruction and management of the Gaza Strip. The governing body of the Peace Council is to be a board headed by the American president.
As reported by Bloomberg, the US wants the countries participating in the Council to be obliged to pay at least USD 1 billion for permanent membership in it. Otherwise, their term of office would be three years, renewable with the consent of the President of the Council.

In 2027, presidential elections will be held in France. The incumbent president, Emmanuel Macron, will not be able to fight for re-electionbecause the French constitution limits the number of presidential terms to two consecutive terms.
