Donald Trump on Truth Social on Friday evening called Marjorie Taylor Greene a “raging lunatic” and said he was withdrawing his support for the congresswoman.
“As I see it, all 'Crazy' Marjorie does is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!” – Trump wrote.
On Friday evening, the president published several more posts slandering Taylor Greene. In just a few minutes, he shared comments calling the congresswoman “a cheap political ball”, “a sellout” and stating that “her political future is over.”
This explosion proves that a significant split in the MAGA coalitionwhich put Trump into office and helped him implement his agenda. However, it has been weakening in recent months, especially in connection with the files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case.
“I do not worship or serve Donald Trump”
Greene is extremely harsh in criticizing Trump. In her opinion, the president should make sacrifices less time for travel and foreign affairs, and more for domestic affairssuch as the upcoming expiration of Obamacare health care subsidies. This will increase health insurance for many people.

However, the Epstein case seems to be the main axis of rupture. Greene and other figures in the MAGA movement have long called on the government to release records from the investigation. Trump also seemed to support this demand until he returned to the White House. Congress is expected to vote next Tuesday on legislation to force the release of federal records related to the Epstein case
After Trump denounced her, Greene wrote in her own post that she had sent him a text message about the now-deceased sex offender, suggesting that was apparently what had upset him.
“It's real it's amazing how hard he's fighting to stop the release of Epstein's filesthat he would go to such lengths,” she wrote. “But the truth is that most Americans would like him to fight so hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign affairs, are going bankrupt trying to feed their families, and are losing hope in achieving the American dream.” She added: “I do not worship or serve Donald Trump.”

Greene's criticism of Trump comes at a politically difficult time for Republicans, who feel weakened after a devastating election cycle in which Democrats swept them in every major contest — in part through a campaign focused on the effects of the shutdown and rising prices. Democrats hope that this momentum will last until the so-called mid-term elections next year. They hope to regain a majority in the House of Representatives.
The president said that if a trusted Republican runs against Greene — whom he currently views as “far left” — in next year's primary election, will receive his support.
“I can't take calls from an angry lunatic every day. I understand that wonderful conservative people are thinking about the primary against Marjorie in her district in Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics,” he wrote. “If the right person runs, they will have my full and unwavering support.”

Trump used Truth Social to launch similarly sharp attacks on Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, who, like Greene, humiliated Trump and other Republican leaders by calling for full disclosure of the Epstein files and pushing for limits on presidential war powers.
Last month, Trump encouraged Ed Gallrein, a retired Navy Seal, to run against Massie in next year's primary election. Senator Rand Paul, who is at odds with Trump, later said he would help Massie win.
“Has Thomas Massie, sometimes called Rand Paul Jr. because he always votes against the Republican Party, got married yet???” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Man, that was fast! No wonder the polls give him less than an 8% chance of winning the election. Anyway, have a nice life Thomas and (?). His wife will soon find out she's done being a LOSER!”
