Bosnia – Romania. The “Tricolors” opened the scoring in the 17th minute, with a superb execution by Daniel Bîrligea.

Romania started the match in Zenica well. In a hostile atmosphere, with the Bosnians booing any touch of the ball by the “tricolors”, Lucescu's students coped with the pressure and created great danger at the opposing goal.

First, Mihăilă missed alone with the opposing goalkeeper, after a perfect launch by Dennis Man. Valentin advanced and sent a long shot, but the opposing goalkeeper defended. A few minutes later, he made up for it.

Mihăilă received another exceptional long pass, this time from Chipciu. The extreme left did not take over, but sent with the left in front of the goal.

At the end, Daniel Bîrligea appeared, who sent an elegant shot, also with his left, over the opponent's goalkeeper. A fine “ladder” that started the party in the sector of Romanian fans.

For the striker from FCSB, it was the second goal for the national team, in match number 6. He had also scored against Cyprus, in the League of Nations.
