Demand for traditional felt boots has fallen in Russia
In September-October, the number of purchases of felt boots decreased by 11% (compared to last year) due to warm weather. The average price of such shoes increased by 15% – to 2,690 rubles. Demand is expected to increase as frost approaches.
Felt boots have become the most popular fashion segment in the urban environment. Men in deep Russia also take traditional felt boots to go hunting, fishing and construction.
