In Krasnoyarsk, a man was convicted for fictitiously registering 24 foreigners. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

During the investigation, the police found that a previously convicted 53-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk, from October to November 2024, provided documents to the MFC and placed foreigners on fictitious migration registration in an apartment on Shchorsa Street. At the same time, he did not provide them with living space

As payment for services, the Krasnoyarsk resident received 500 rubles per person from migrants.

“The fact of fictitious registration was discovered by the local police commissioner when checking the accuracy of migration registration information. It turned out that a married couple lived in the apartment, and there were no foreign citizens at the specified address. The accused was only registered there, but lived in another place,” the police said.

A criminal case was opened against the man under Art. 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Krasnoyarsk resident admitted his guilt and repented of his crime; the court fined him 15 thousand rubles.

The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
