Zbigniew Ziobro granted asylum or pardon? This is the position of the Poles [SONDAŻ]


The first question was whether Zbigniew Ziobro should apply for asylum in Hungary, following the example of Marcin Romanowski, his former deputy, who received political protection there last year. The results of the study indicate that 56.8 percent respondents are against such a solution, and only 33 percent would support Ziobro's decision to ask Viktor Orban's government for asylum. Every tenth respondent has no opinion on this matter.

According to the study, opinions on this topic vary depending on political views. The greatest support for Ziobro's asylum was recorded among PiS voters – 72%. of them believe that they should apply for protection in Hungary. In turn, opponents of this idea dominate among supporters of the Civic Coalition (82%), Konfederacja (75%) and the New Left, where as many as 96%. respondents expressed their opposition to such a decision.

The second question concerned a possible pardon of Zbigniew Ziobro by President Karol Nawrocki if the former Minister of Justice was convicted. The survey results show that 53.1 percent respondents are against the application of the law of pardon in his case, while 31.9 percent would support such action. The remaining 15 percent respondents do not have a specific opinion.
