In mid-November, most of the big Christmas markets in Bucharest have already been announced.
Even if the idea of a Christmas Market is relatively new in Bucharest, compared to the much older Christmas markets in Europe, it is now, for sure, a symbol of the winter holidays.
This year there are some important novelties in this chapter. For example, the Capital City Hall actually organizes three fairs: one at the consecrated place, in the Constitution Square, one at the University and another on the Opera esplanade.
The West Side Christmas Market will be, classic already, in Drumul Taberei park, but the mayor Robert Negoiță has moved the market from Sector 3 from Hala Laminor to Alba Iulia Square.
This year, a Christmas fair will also be organized in Sector 4 – Tărâmul de Gheăță, in the Lumea Copiilor Park.
