Accused of asking for money for rent, Prime Minister Bolojan denies and transmits, by a government reaction, that “it is regrettable error” of a document. How it explains it

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan did not ask for money for the rent in Bucharest, the government reports in a statement. The reaction comes after the moderator of the television station Realitatea Plus, Anca Alexandrescu, published on Facebook a document stating that on Sunday, July 27, asked the Senate to pay his rent from Bucharest.
About two hours after the post made by moderator Anca Alexandrescu, the Government said that “the document appeared in the public space is a regrettable error to complete the form for which the prime minister requested the immediate remedy.”

According to the Government, in reality, Ilie Bolojan had not asked for money for rent.
“Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan did not request this amount and does not benefit from it. To avoid any misinterpretations, we mention that the prime minister has filed an official request for the lump sum on July 1, 2025,” the institution, which gave the press and a photo with this request.

“The prime minister has assumed, from the beginning of the mandate, to use the resources that come from public money with responsibility and remains consistent to this commitment,” the Government said.
How the Government explains the “completion error”
Asked by journalists, what the “completion error” consisted of, the Government transmitted the following: “Given that the request for renunciation had already been registered on July 1, on the document with the declaration that it did not have properties, the word” request “to grant the lump sum to cover the expenses”.
