Police officers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory uncovered a social benefits fraud scheme in Minusinsk. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A local 32-year-old resident signed up for a social contract to develop her own business and received 110 thousand rubles.
Instead of using the funds for the intended purpose, the woman provided false reporting documents. In stores in Minusinsk and Khakassia, she asked to change the names of goods on receipts, explaining this by the need to account to her husband for spending personal funds.
The woman sent fictitious checks to the department of social protection of the population. In this way, she created the appearance of targeted use of public money.
A criminal case has been initiated under the article of fraud in receiving payments. The suspect faces up to two years in prison.
