Real Madrid and Olympique Lyon have a verbal agreement for the loan of Endrick, the young Brazilian striker (19) who has not been given a chance during Xabi Alonso's tenure.

In the previous season, under Carlo Ancelotti, Endrick was not a regular at Madrid, but he still made 37 appearances, scoring 7 goals. It is relevant to look at the total number of minutes played, 847, which means that the small South American striker (measures 1.73 meters) scored once every 121 minutes of play.

In the current season, with Xabi Alonso on the bench, Endrick played only once, 11 minutes at the end of the victory with Valencia (4-0).

Lyon, agreement with Real Madrid! Endrick goes to France on loan

Unsatisfied with his situation, especially with the 2026 World Cup looming, Endrick looked for a team to go to on loan.

This looks like it will be Olympique Lyon. According to ESPN Brazil, the clubs and the player have a verbal agreement on a 6-month loan from January to June 2026.

The French club will cover 50% of his monthly salary which he collects in Madrid, approximately 400,000 euros.

According to the cited source, the agreement also does not provide for a purchase clause. Real Madrid have no intention of giving up on Endrick for good, but are hoping that these months in France will give him the minutes he needs to continue his development.

Endrick would have already contacted Lyon's coach, Paulo Fonseca, so that the latter could explain to him what plans he has for him.

Lyon is 7th in Ligue 1 with 20 points accumulated in the first 12 rounds. PSG's leader is 27.
