Good news for Cristi Chivu (44 years old)! Two of Inter Milano's most important players, Lautaro Martinez (27 years old) and Hakan Calhanoglu (31 years old), made peace after the conflict from elimination from the World Club Championship 2025.

The captain of the “Nerazzurilor” was angry with the Turkish international that he understood that he wants to leave Inter this summer, but despite the interest from Galatasaray, Calhanoglu revealed that he is happy at Inter and that he will stay at the finalist of the champions at least two more seasons, how long the current contract is.

The dispute between teammates broke out during the World Club Championship, where “Nerazzurri” were eliminated by Fluminense in the finals.

“We have a clear message: whoever wants to stay, must stay, who does not want to stay here, has to leave,” said Lautar Martinez to the press.

This was caused by the constant speculation that Calhanoglu insists on a transfer to Galatasaray, the club whose fan is from childhood.

“I will not mention any name. We are here to give everything, but I have seen many things that I did not like. I am a captain, the team leader, so I have to talk. Those who want to stay and continue to fight for important trophies, I can do it, otherwise,” said Lautaro Martinez.

Calhanoglu and his agent have repeatedly confirmed that the Turkish international is happy to stay at Inter and do not intend to insist on a transfer.
