In the Angara region, schoolchildren burned a girl’s legs with an iron after a quarrel (video)

A criminal case has been opened in the Irkutsk region following an incident involving minors. This was reported to the Investigative Committee.

According to investigators, in November 2025, in the village of Bolshoi Lug, Shelekhovsky district, a group of minors used violence against a 13-year-old schoolgirl. The girl was burned on her legs with an iron and hit in the face with a wire; a video of the child demonstrating terrible burns spread across the Internet. Based on this fact, a criminal case was opened under paragraphs. “d”, “d”, “f” part 2 art. 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (torture).

Law enforcement officers managed to find those involved in the crime. Boys aged 17 and 14 were interrogated with the participation of legal representatives and an educational psychologist. The young men were detained in accordance with Art. 91 Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.

“During the investigation, a proper assessment will be made of the actions of other identified persons involved in the commission of the crime,” the Investigative Committee added.

Residents of Bolshoy Lug told RT that the reason for children bullying their peers was a conflict within the company. According to the publication, the instigator of the bullying is a 13-year-old schoolgirl, a former friend of the victim. Previously, the girls communicated quite well, but during the holidays they quarreled very strongly over something.

Journalists say that the whole class suffers from the schoolgirl’s actions. Children complain to their parents that they are afraid to go to class. The village believes that the girl organized an entire gang to bully her peers.
