Its authors claim that copies of Putin’s office at his residence in Novo-Ogarevo (Moscow region) were also built in Sochi and Valdai.
Having studied “hundreds of publications” on the Kremlin website over the past 10 years and watched “dozens of hours” of the program “Moscow.Kremlin.Putin”, Sistema concluded that There are three different rooms that the Kremlin press service passes off as one, and three “main pieces of evidence” prove this: a door handle, a decorative line on the wall and a folder for papers.
The office in Novo-Ogarevo appeared 10 years ago, photos and videos from the office in Sochi have appeared since 2020, and from the office in Valdai since 2018.
Investigators noticed that in all three offices that appear in propaganda materials about Putin, a seam was placed on the wall behind the table at different heights.
In addition, the publication talks about different heights of handles in different Putin’s offices.
The pattern on the desk set and the color of the tabletop also differ.
Investigators consider evidence that Putin was shown not only in Novo-Ogarevo, but also in double offices, in addition to handles and seams, data from the internal correspondence of propagandists, when, for example, Pavel Zarubin shows “exclusive footage from Novo-Ogarevo,” and his cameramen for these filming were on a business trip to Sochi.
Sistema found out that Putin stopped using the office in Novo-Ogarevo at the beginning of 2025, and the office in Sochi in January 2024. The authors of the investigation attribute this to the fact that because of the war unleashed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, Putin fears for his life. For example, in Sochi they may fly to his residence Ukrainian drones.
Now all the videos with Putin were filmed in his office in Valdai, investigators believe.
