The government is preparing a bill
The Act on civil partnerships is one of the election promises of the Civic Coalition. Changes in the law are also pushed by the Left. The government's main brake on this issue is PSL. At one point, three separate designs appeared in the game.

According to “DGP”, the government's work on the draft act on the status of the closest person in a relationship and the cohabitation agreement is to be in the final stages. Katarzyna Kotula, secretary of state in the prime minister's office, claims that the goal is to submit the project to the Sejm by the end of this year.
It is worth recalling that in the election campaign Karol Nawrocki declared that he was ready to discuss the status of his closest person.
