Investigators found 300 thousand rubles in the car of the Usoltsev family, which disappeared during a hike in the mountain taiga near Krasnoyarsk. The money was in the glove compartment of the car.
As reported by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the region, this find does not change the main versions of the family’s disappearance. “According to relatives, Usoltsev often left money in the car. So this point does not affect the versions in any way,” the department explained.
Bags, a woman's purse and a child seat were also found in the abandoned car. However, there was no camping equipment in the car.
Let us remind you that on September 27, a 64-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, together with their 5-year-old daughter, arrived by car from Zheleznogorsk to the village of Kuturchin to go hiking as part of a tourist group in the direction of Kuturchinsky Belogorye. Due to an unfavorable weather forecast, the group did not gather, but on September 28 at noon the family set out on their own, informing the base employee of their route – to Mount Buratinka and back. Walking with a child takes 3-3.5 hours.
It has been reliably established that on September 28, female tourists were seen approaching the mountain of the missing. On September 29, a colleague wrote to the woman’s adult son and reported that she did not show up for work and that the family was going on vacation to the Partizansky district. On September 30, the young man filed a complaint with law enforcement agencies. A criminal case was opened into the unknown disappearance of the family.
