Employees of the search and rescue team helped evacuate two tourists from Moscow in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park, the Spasatel State Public Institution reported.

On Monday afternoon, November 10, two tourists from Moscow got lost in the national park while walking. They ended up at the Dachki rock, which is rarely visited by vacationers.

“Without knowing any landmarks, they called 112 and asked for help. Regional rescuers went in search of citizens, found them and took them to Sverdlovskaya Street,” the press service said.

Also on the same day, rescuers provided first aid to a 20-year-old girl who suffered a leg injury near the main entrance.

Experts noted that now, due to the drop in air temperature, there is severe ice in the rocky area of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars. Therefore, when visiting the national park, tourists are advised to dress and put on shoes appropriate for the weather and not to conquer the peaks without special equipment and training.
