Krasnoyarsk businessman Vladimir Egorov was released from pre-trial detention center

The Krasnoyarsk Railway Court decided to change the preventive measure for developer Vladimir Egorov, the joint press service of the courts reported.

The court cheated on the founder of the insurance company “Siberian» a preventive measure from detention to a ban on certain actions. Vladimir Egorov is prohibited from communicating with a certain circle of people. He was released from custody immediately.

The investigative department of the RF Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia clarified that the cause was Vladimir Egorov’s illness.

Let us recall that a reputable Krasnoyarsk builder was placed in a pre-trial detention center in November 2024 on charges of fraud during the construction of a highway interchange on the Northern Highway (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to investigators, Vladimir Egorov could have deliberately inflated the price of beams for superstructures and stolen about 71 million rubles. Criminal cases are also being investigated against him.
