Mix chalk with water in these proportions – and you get an effective whitewash for the garden

“Before carrying out the procedure, be sure to clean the trunks of trees from dead bark, moss and lichens,” the authors of the material advised. “In addition, it is advisable to treat the trunks with drugs containing copper.”

You can whiten trees with both purchased paint and a mixture cooked independently.

“To do this, take 10 liters of water, 3 kg of chalk, 500 g of copper sulfate and 100 g of Cleister (casein glue). Mix everything thoroughly and let it brew for several hours. According to the consistency, the mixture should not be too thick, but should not flow through the streams with a stream,” the article says.

Apply the mixture to the trunks of trees with a thin layer, otherwise the whitewashing can be exacerbated.
