Kogut called the Russian attack a “record” for the number of ballistic missiles fired.
“There is significant damage, which is why there are no or interruptions in electricity, heat and water supplies in the region,” the head of the Poltava Regional Administration informed.
He assured that all services are working “continuously to the limit of their capabilities” to improve the situation in the region
Kogut emphasized that there are problems with electricity throughout Ukraine and the situation is “really very difficult.”
Due to Russian shelling of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and interruptions in power supply to Poltavateploenergo facilities, boiler houses have been switched to operating from alternative power sources, the company reported on Facebook.
They added that heat supply will be restored at night.
