

According to him, the number of Starlink customers has grown rapidly: in June 2025 there were 6 million users, in August there were already 7 million, and now there are more than 8 million.
The service has added a record 14,250 new users daily since reaching 7 million, surpassing the previous record of 12,200 users per day.
This growth is 17% higher than two months ago, indicating increased demand for Starlink satellite internet worldwide, Merritt explained.

Context
Phys.org, citing astronomer Jonathan McDowell, reported at the end of October that SpaceX has launched more than 10 thousand Starlink satellites since the first operational mission in 2019, but now only 8.7 thousand remain in orbit.
