Mirel Rădoi (44 years old), the coach of the University of Craiova, prefaced the match with UTA Arad, counting for the 16th round of the Super League, and also spoke about the match won in midweekin the unique group of the Conference League, revealing that the supporters of other teams came after the final whistle to the hotel where the Oltenians were staying to see his students.

  • Craiova University – UTA Arad, in the 16th stage of the Super League, will be played on Sunday, November 9, from 5:30 p.m. The match will be liveTEXT on GSP.ro and on TV on Prima Sport 1 and Digi Sport 1

Olten's morale is high and they come after the success achieved in the Conference League group, score 1-0, away, on the field of Rapid Vienna. In the championship, in the last match, Craiova drew dramatically with Rapid, score 2-2.

Now, in the match with the Aradenians, Rădoi is only thinking about victory and it raised an alarm signal considering what happened in the round match, when Craiova was turned from 0-3 in the 81st minute.

“A very good atmosphere, a joy in the heart of the team, I only hope that by the time of the game with UTA I can make the players aware of the importance of the game, plus we have to think that the game in the round was 80 minutes was within our reach, and in the last 15 minutes everything turned upside down, from the result, the opportunities, and then we have to be put on guard by this team.

It was the norm, as it was with us, to have a fall after that fulminant start to the championship, because it is very difficult to maintain that line. After that, all the teams start to get to know each other, you start to know the opposing players, to take your precautions, but I watched the last stage, with Metaloglobus, they deserved to win that game, they dominated that game territorially, head-to-tail, and it seems that their joy after this game was great, it seems that at least from an emotional point of view they have recovered.

It was a good first part for Craiova, I would say, every time we were in the top 3, never below, and then regardless of our result or the other results, every time we kept the first positions occupied by our presence.

I hope we start the return leg with a win, not like we started the tour, with a draw, especially since after the national team break comes and many players will leave for the national team.

To be honest, until I was eliminated, there didn't seem to be that many spectators on the pitch, only when I was eliminated and I stood up did I see people who on our occasions, in all areas of the stadium, stood up and it was clear that they were Craiova University supporters. What happened right at the final whistle, I was pleasantly surprised.

Then, at the hotel, there were supporters from other teams, I don't want to mention the teams, who simply came to see Craiova University. This means that what I have achieved now I did not only for the club, but I did it for Romania, and it is important that the level of Romanian football has such moments, with victories and a lot of supporters at matches.

I think at the moment, the game doesn't seem very important, but we really need their presence in the game tomorrow night, because it is more than important for us. We're still up there with a win and every time they've been with the boys, at least Oblemenco, we're undefeated
